Check Out Information
- ALL museum passes (physical and digital) must be reserved online using MuseumKey, an online portal that allows you to browse and reserve passes in advance.
- There are two types of passes available for check out:
- Physical Passes: A physical pass is picked up at the owning library to present at the museum for entry and then returned to that library for the next person. Physical passes that have been reserved online may be picked-up during library hours.
- Print & Go Passes: Print & Go passes may be reserved for a specific date and printed at home or presented digitally for museum entry. Print & Go passes do not need to be returned to the library, as they will automatically expire. Museums using Print & Go passes can be identified by a small printer icon next to their name on MuseumKey.
- Physical Passes may be checked out for 3 days. Print & Go Passes are valid for 1 day (the date of the online reservation). Museum passes cannot be renewed.
- Passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance. Each patron may check out one pass at a time on a given date, and have no more than 3 reservations for different dates.
Return Information
- Physical passes must be returned in person, either in the library book drop or to our circulation desk.
