Summer Reading 2024

June 10th through August 16th

Adventure Begins at Your Library with a summer of reading, activities and events at the
Radnor Memorial Library! There’s a Summer Reading Club for everyone – kids, teens, and adults. Sign up starting June 10th and start winning prizes through August 16th.

Kids (Preschool-Rising 5th Graders)

  1. Come into the Library to pick up a reading log, starting June 10.
  2. Keep track of time spent reading throughout the summer.
  3. Earn a book prize when you read for 3, 9, & 15 hours.
  4. BONUS: Get entered into a weekly raffle drawing for an extra prize by reporting on a book
    in-person at the Youth Services Desk.

Teens (Rising 6th-12th Graders)

  1. Come into the library to get a free reading log (or download and print the Teen Reading Log,)
    or sign up online on Beanstack.
  2. Keep track of your reading.
  3. Earn a raffle ticket for every hour you read. Pick them up at the Library.
    There is no limit on the number of tickets you can earn.
  4. Enter your tickets in a weekly prize basket raffle. All tickets will be entered in an
    end-of-summer drawing for a $50 gift card.
Summer Reading Lists

Adults (Ages 18 & Up)

  1. Sign up online on Beanstack or come to the Reference Desk and sign up on paper.
  2. Log every book you read throughout the summer.
  3. Every book logged is an entry into a raffle for fantastic gift cards to local shops and
    restaurants.
  4. BONUS: Earn raffle tickets on Beanstack for a chance to win additional prizes.
  5. Share your summer of reading with the other Beanstack readers in Delco and help us
    reach our community reading goal of 1 million minutes! Adventure awaits!

7/18 – Puppets Pizzazz Adventures in Magicland: feel-good musical puppet show
7/25 – Music Play Patrol Going on an Adventure: musical storytelling and education
8/01 – Magic by Ed: magic, music, kid-friendly comedy, & live animals
8/08 – Elmwood Park Zoo-on-Wheels: Live animals & interesting artifacts
